





The September Art Exhibition, Wadhurst, is now in it’s 14th year. This year the show
opens with the private view on Thursday 2nd September and runs until Sunday 12th
September. The exhibition is open to all and was established by artists seeking
to create an accessible and varied show, it achieves high visitor numbers and has
an excellent reputation with consistently strong sales. The exhibition is non-

The origins of the show were almost accidental. Val Brinton’s late husband Richard
somewhat impulsively booked The Commemoration Hall for Val to stage an exhibition
of her paintings -
